Academic Background

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from MSH Medical School Hamburg and Hochschule Fresenius. My academic and research interests are rooted in the study of human experience across generations, with a particular focus on family memory, meaning-making, and psychological resilience.

My master's thesis explored how historical experiences of displacement (1945–1950) continue to shape family narratives, emotional processes, and embodied experiences across generations through qualitative and narrative approaches.

Research Interests

My work lies at the intersection of clinical psychology, positive psychology, memory studies, and narrative research.

I am interested in how historical experiences are remembered, interpreted, and transformed into psychological and social resources within families and communities. In particular, I explore how memory, identity, relationships, and cultural practices contribute to resilience and psychological well-being across generations.

LeMémoire as a Project

LeMémoire is an interdisciplinary research initiative that explores family memory as a psychological and cultural process. It brings together historical experience, narrative identity, meaning-making, and resilience to better understand how individuals and families create continuity, belonging, and psychological resources across generations.

Rather than focusing exclusively on pathology or trauma, LeMémoire adopts a salutogenic and resource-oriented perspective on human experience.
